Locked down itching to get behind the camera? Join award winning Zambian film producer and editor, @Monde Kawana, for an exclusive screening of her short film, Story of a Baked Brownie, followed by a discussion about how filmmakers are innovating during the COVID-19 Crisis.
Her film, SOBB, has had a successful festival run being featured by eight international and local festivals over the space of one year, winning an award from @American Golden Picture International Film Festival and being featured on @CNN Africa. Produced through @Bench Films, the crew was majority female, with mainly female heads of department. The film is a visual poem, calling African women of color to embrace their beauty and to grow in love with their own skin.
